your arm

Your arm is made up of three bones…. humerus, ulna and the radius. Do you know what they do?

The humerus is the bone in the upper arm extending from the elbow to the shoulder. Its main function is to provide the upper region of the arm with movement. The humerus is divided into three portions, the rounded head, the narrow neck, and the processes known as the tubercles.

The ulna is the final bone that makes up your arm. It is located parallel to the radius between the wrist and elbow.Like the other two arm bones, the ulna is important for movement and giving support for the arm.

The radius is the bone of the forearm, or the lower arm, extending from the elbow to wrist.Like the humerus, the radius is responsible for the movement of the arm along with giving support.
