fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes muscle pain, body stiffness, and fatigue. This can not be diagnosed by a lab test. Instead, your chiropractor will take your health history and examine your joints and muscles. Then you can make a plan to help you manage your symptoms. In most cases, you will have tender points in your body. These points are very sore, especially when being touched. Finding several of these points can help your chiropractor diagnose. Symptoms include:
  • constant tiredness, even after a full nights of rest.
  • burning/throbbing pain in many parts of the body
  • stiffness or aching all over your body
  • numbness/tingling in your arms and legs
  • trouble sleeping
  • bowel problems
  • headaches
  • poor circulation
What can I do to help/prevent this?
  • get exercise
  • get a good nights rest
