Teenagers tend to do impulsive things without thinking things thru.
Scientist explain that our brains are not fully developed until age 25.
Teenagers respond more to rewards for good behavior than adults. Parents should reward good behavior and shouldn’t focus on the negative or bad things teens do.
As we move out of our teens and gain more responsibilities, people tend to take less risks.
Teenagers can get into serious trouble but it is not really their fault since scientist can now prove that their brains cannot make decisions like adults. We can get into dangerous and or life threatening mistakes. We should always try to slow down and think about how our decisions and actions can impact us and others.
As they learn more about how the brain works they may have a better idea on how to help teenagers in our future avoid some serious mistakes.
