We have what is called a blood brain barrier in our brain. It is there to protect our brain from most infections or toxins. Sometime infection gets thru but many medications cannot. This can make things difficult. The blood brain Barrier was discovered in the 1800’s when die was inserted in animals. A barrier was discovered.

Scientist are trying to find passage ways so they are able to get drugs thru the barrier or filter.

I hope they can discover a way without having to drill a hole in the head.

This is really important. If scientist are able to find ways to get the appropriate medications to the brain it can help many with chronic and or debilitating illness.
