Femur
The femur is also called your thigh bone. It starts at your hip and goes done to your knee. The femur is the biggest, and most powerful, bone in our bodies. It hooks into the pelvis with a round tip and that is called our hip joint. The lower part of our femur hooks onto the tibia with is the lower part of the leg, which we call the knee joint. You can feel your femur through the skin at only two places, which is either end at the joints. The main goal of the femur is to help support our bodies from our upper weight. While we are in motion throughout the day, it also helps the body balance out evenly that way you do not end up falling over. It is pretty hard to fracture your femur but if you do it can be treated by a docotr at a hospital.
