dead leg
Has your foot or hand or part of your ever 'fall asleep'? Did you know it is actually because while you're sitting or laying on it, it loses blood flow and by doing this you are cutting off communication to the brain. The pressure you are applying is squeezing the verve cells so they cant transmit electrochemical impulses properly. Nerves impulses carry information from the end of the nerves to the barin, along with instructions. So when you interfere with this, you dont have full feeling in that part of your body. Your leg or hand tingle because your brain is trying to get blood flow back into it and tell it what to do. Next time your leg falls asleep you know why!
