Title: What is Earwax?
Summary:
Earwax is a self-cleaning agent produced in your ears with protective, and antibacterial properties. Earwax is not really a wax. It is a water-soluble mixture of secretions. It is also hair and dead skin. Earwax is formed in the outer part of the ear canal. Without earwax, our ears may become very dry and itchy. However, many people think earwax should be removed for personal hygiene. Attempting to remove earwax can cause damage to the ear. The attempts to remove the earwax only push the wax in deeper, and can block the ear canal
entirely. Under ideal circumstances, the ear canals should never have to be cleaned. However, that is not always the case. I think that this information is important because now you know that its not gross to have earwax, and that everyone has it.
