Title: weight and diabetes
Summary:
Most people wonder what weight has to do with diabetes and which one makes you lose weight and which one makes you gain weight. If you have type one diabetes you normally will lose a lot of weight. This is because your body can't use glucose properly because pancreas doesn't produce the insulin needed to get the glucose into the cells. Your body will flush unusable glucose out of the body through your urine which is the cause for the weight loss. Type two diabetes is the type that people tend to gain weight with. People with type two diabetes can produce insulin but can't use it properly to move glucose into cells. so the amount of glucose in the blood rises and the pancreas makes more insulin in attempt to solve the problem. Over time, the pancreas gets worn out and can no longer produce enough insulin to keep blood glucose levels at a normal range. However, weight loss, eating healthier foods, better portion sizes, and getting excersice can reverse insulin resistance.
