Malnutrition occurs when your body does not receive enough nutrients to sustain it self properly; basically when you don't eat enough. This can be caused by starvation, or lack of eating, digestive issues, and certain medical conditions. Symptoms are usually pretty clear, especially if it's lack of all vitamins, instead of a single one. The symptoms include:
Weight loss
Fatigue
Dizziness
These are the most common symptoms, and usually the type of malnutrition is found through nutritional assessments and blood work.
Malnutrition is a problem that occurs often in worn down countries, most of which are located in Africa. Sadly, those problems in Africa are difficult to fix because of their violent governmental issues.
