Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a disease that makes it difficult to have normal emotional responses, behave normally in a social place, and tell the difference from real life and fantasy. It is a genetic disorder and you are more likely to have it if a family member has had it before. Schizophrenia usually will start in the teens or early adulthood. It is not as common to start seeing symptoms later on in someones life. The symptoms of schizophrenia will progress slowly; from months to years. some of the first symptoms may consist of:
-irritable or tense feeling
-difficulty sleeping
-hard time concentrating
-lack of emotion
-delusions
-hallusinations
-social isolation
There are many types of Schizophrenia. Some of them are Paranoid Schizophrenia, Disorganized Schizophrenia, and Catatonic Schizophrenia.
