Researchers compared two mice that were develop to have Alzheimer's disease. They found genes that were linked to Alzheimer's disease in humans. But was not discovered in the brain, rather tissues that produce beta amyloid. They found that livers of the mice did not have certain genes as they should, as well as not as much liver cells in other mice.
Understanding where Alzheimer's disease is originated can help us learn how to better undstand how it affects the liver as well as the rest of the body more. Which can help us be more prepared to know how to find a cure or suitable treatment for people with the disease.
