A lack of sleep may boost diabetes risk

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/04/11/lack-sleep-may-boost-diabetes-risk/

A general lack of sleep may increase your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Participants at a Hospital in Boston were put on a sleep schedule where they slept for less than six hours per day for three weeks. Which essentially was putting them on a 28-hour day. The results showed that the participants abilities to regulate their blood sugar levels became so impaired that they may have developed diabetes. So make sure that you get enough sleep!
