Longest ears on a Hound dog!

In Boulder Colorado, theres a new record holder for the dog with the longest ears. This dog is an 8 year old black and tan Coonhound named Harbor. He made the Guinness world records title for the longest ears. His measuring for his left ear 12.25 inches and for his right ear 13.5 inches long. Meaning ears more than a foot long, hounds ears are mostly made up of cartlidge. Their horizontal ear canal is lined by specialized skin probabaly 1mm thick. Their ears are already long when they're puppies but progresses to grow as they age. Just like humans, our teeth, ears, nose ears and hair never stop growing. For hounds their ears never stop growing and the older they get, they longer their ears get.
