Black Dragon River

Black Dragon River
-The chinese call it Heilong Jiang.
-The western maps named it Amur.
1.) -Its the world's eighth longthest river at 2,744 miles.
-Sometimes has uneasy borders between two world powers.
-Carries about one hundred species of fish
2.)-Around six months of the year its unfrozen, big amount of water moves Eastward.
-Over 25 million tons of watergo into the North Pacific ocean.
-On one side of the river is Russia and the other is China.
The River marks the border between the People's Republic of China and Russia to the north side. The area around the River is home to 95% of the world's Oriental white stork, as well as significant numbers of cranes and other birds. The river valley forms a rich habitat for a variety of other wildlife animals also. This is awesome being that the river is only avaible from May to November. Environmentalists today are concerned that the river is being mined for agricultural purposes but what about the wildlife aniamals that live there. A debate over the purpose of the river is still going on now.
